You either love or you hate durian. In Malaysia, there are several hundreds of varieties of durians grown, and each one is exploding with aroma and smell. Durians typically have more flesh and a richer aroma when they ripen and fall to the ground.

Each durian type requires particular growing circumstances, such as rainfall, altitude, temperature, soil structure, etc. Durian season typically occurs in June and July of every year.
